Images as Hyperlinks

Try It: Make your image into a link using an anchor tag.

Remember: Images are often measured in pixels
A neat thing to do is to combine the anchor tag and an image. By doing this you can make clicking on an image take you to a URL. Most browsers indicate an image is clickable by putting a blue border that is 2 pixels wide around the image. A pixel is the smallest dot your computer screen can make, so 1 pixel is very small! In the next section you learn how to turn this border off if you like.
